Ghana Cocoa Coalition’s quarterly meeting

On May 19th, the Ghana Cocoa Coalition held its 2nd Quarter meeting at the Dutch Embassy. This meeting was also the last one to be hosted by HE Ambassador Jeroen Verheul, whose duty tour comes to an end in July 2026.

Under his leadership, the Coalition has strategically engaged Ghana Cocoa Board (COCOBOD) on critical sustainability issues, facilitated the co-opting of Coalition members into the Working Groups of the Ghana Cocoa Monitor, and facilitated engagements among Coalition members.

The Ghana Cocoa Coalition was set up in 2023 with the mission to bring like-minded CSOs together for coordinated policy dialogues through knowledge sharing and learning to enhance inclusive and effective governance towards sector transformation. VOICE joined the Coalition last year in 2025.
