PAN International List of Highly Hazardous Pesticides (PAN List of HHPs)
This publication describes how PAN International defines Highly Hazardous Pesticides (HHPs) by identifying the hazard criterion indicators. An explanation of the different hazard criteria selected is followed by a list of HHPs generated on the basis of these criteria. The PAN International HHP List serves as a list of pesticides to be progressively banned. All
stakeholder groups can use it as a decision tool for their pesticide policies, such as developing prohibited or restricted lists in private standards or to prioritise actions for reducing pesticide hazards and risks in a specific country.
